LOGLINE

A self-contained thriller where two men, locked in a nuclear silo and disconnected from the outside world, grapple with a decision whose consequences will affect all of mankind. Duncan Jones' Moon meets Ridley Scott’s Alien.

SYNOPSIS

Two minutemen, both career officers, arrive for their shift in a remote bunker manning the controls of a nuclear ballistic missile. A military posting typically marked by decades of tedious monotony, today is different: the alarm sounds to arm and fire the missile. As they step through the process and await confirmation, the procedure unexpectedly goes awry leaving them with a difficult
decision. Suddenly, a shockwave rips through the facility, knocking them unconscious and the system offline.

We rejoin them, several months later as they’ve settled into a routine, now trapped in the facility- No one has arrived to relieve them and they are unable to leave their post. Devoid of any communication or contact from the outside, they begin to believe the unthinkable: that society at large is gone. However, sitting dormant in the silo next to them is a nuclear payload that can still
bring about apocalypse to the outside world, if it still exists. In light of this, the two men, their relationship a silent pressure cooker, finally reach a workable accord.

That is, until one evening when the perimeter alarm sounds and cameras reveal an unexpected visitor; one that will catalyze latent and dangerous plans and bring hidden agendas to the surface.
