A Self-contained thriller where two 20’s something ladies hitch a boat ride to a gentleman’s private island, where they find terror lurking in the dark corners of paradise. A thriller set in the vein of Most Dangerous Game, with a fantastic female twist.

SYNOPSIS

Hitchcockian suspense thriller set in the tropics: two young women on vacation, Bella and Maya, have it all. They’re young, beautiful and thoroughly enjoying themselves in tropical paradise. It’s a continuous party: fun in the sun during the day and drinks and dancing in the evening. That is, until their money runs out. Bella, the more adventurous (and reckless) one, wants to continue. She doesn’t, however, want to ask Dad for more money. Maya, the more practical minded, knows their options are limited and dwindling, just like their funds. And underneath the yearning for adventure, they find themselves searching for something more, something real.

Enter TJ, a strange and mysterious man, who reluctantly agrees to run them via his yacht to Nassau, the first leg of their journey back to the real world. With the prospect of a return to reality looming on the horizon, they find themselves aboard a luxurious yacht, a fifty-seven foot Ferretti. Brimming with curiosity, the girls tease out from TJ that he is not the owner of the yacht and is in fact a humble custodian, on a routine restocking run for his employer’s vacation residence, a private island. The ladies find his story believable, if just barely so. After a few more drinks, they convince TJ to make a pit stop en route to Nassau.

Arrival at the island adds another layer to the mystery— the island of Odysseus. It’s a private retreat, hidden and surrounded by deep and treacherous waters— the perfect sanctuary for a reclusive, self-made tech genius. Who, according to TJ, only visits occasionally and isn’t home. An oncoming storm, in addition to the ladies’ pleas, convinces TJ to host the women on the island for a night.

Over dinner, more secrets emerge about TJ and the island, a place with a notorious and haunted past. As a storm closes in on the the island, tensions rise and the conversation takes an unexpected turn as hidden agendas are revealed from Maya and Bella, exposing a shocking twist that sends everyone into a psychological battle of-wits. Our story spirals into an unexpected tale of vengeance and absolution and for Maya and Bella, a question of morality and ultimately a fight for their life. It's a climactic struggle for survival, a contemporary suspense-thriller in the spirit of "Most Dangerous Game".
